12: I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
13: I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
I am still in the process of learning the secret of being content in any and every situation. I sense that I am somewhat dreading the departure this Saturday. I was definitely stretched last year...
When I sit down and think about it, the conclusion is easy, it's that God's presence will go with me and although I feel a little sad I can go on without crying.

Philippians 1
9절: 내가 기도하노라 너희 사랑을 지식과 모든 총명으로 점점 더 풍성하게 하사.
점점 더.. 풍성하게 되는 사랑을 기대합니다, 사랑하고자 하지만 어떻게 사랑해야 하는지 잘 모르는 사람인데 점점 더 풍성하게 될것임을 믿고 기도하며 나아갑니다.
21절: 이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도니 죽는 것도 유익함이니라
To live is Christ and to die is gain, 오직 예수 그리스도로 살고 죽으면 죽으리라 라는 마음으로 산다면 얼마나 심플하고 강력한 삶이 될지, 나의 모은 욕망과 연약함을 다 뒤로 한채 이렇게 살기를 소망한다.
27,28절: 오직 너희는 그리스도 복음에 합당하게 생활하라 이는 내가 너희를 가 보나 떠나 있으니 너희가 일심으로 서서 한 뜻으로 복음의 신앙을 위하여 협력하는 것과 아무일에든지 대적하는 자를 인하여 두려워하지 아니하는 이 일을 듣고자 함이라 이것이 저희에게는 멸망의 빙거요 너희에게는 구원의 빙거니 이는 하나남께로부터 난 것이니라.
그리스도 복음에 합당하게 생활하고 일심으로 복음의 신앙을 위하여 협력하자.

Exodus 33
12: Moses said to the Lord, "You have been telling me, 'Lead these people,' but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, 'I know you by name and you have found favor with me.'
13: If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people."
14: The Lord replied, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
15: Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.
16: How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?"
17: And the Lord said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."
My presence will go with you, I know you by name and you have found favour with me.

Exodus 29
46: Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God. They will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.
46:그들은 내가 그들의 하나님 여호와로서 그들중에 거하려고 그들을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 줄을 알리라 나는 그들의 하나님 여호와니라.
God is proclaiming that He is their God, our God. He has brought the people out of Egypt
to be our God, he has sent Jesus only son down to earth to save us and become our Lord and saviour. God wants to be there for us He wants the relationship with us.
In the beginning God gives detailed instructions for the Israelites to follow. Step by step obedience with God was what was required but we know that the law was powerless to make us God's people. Then Jesus chose to come down to Earth and save us from our sufferings and sin. He has called us friend and changed the relationship model from a vertical one to a horizontal model. He delights in working with us, he delights working in partnership. This gives us more responsibility and freedom.
Creativity and initiative is God given. When we use them to please God, we are using them in their rightful place. That is my goal to please God with my creativity and initiative.

Exodus 19-21
19:5 세계가 다 내게 속하였나니 너희가 내 말을 잘 듣고 내 언약을 지키면 너희는 열국 중에서 내 소유가 되겠고
19:6 너희가 내게 대하여 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 되리라 너는 이 말을 이스라에엘 자손에게 고할찌니라.
언약으로 시작된 하나님과 이스라엘 백성의 관계, 하지만 율법으로는 되지 않는 다는 것을 우린 역사를 통해서 알수 있다.
로마서 8:3-4 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the spirit.
10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
14: Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
21: The creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
25 We hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
87 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
What the law was powerless to do, Jesus Christ allowed us to be redeemed with God and become his adopted sons and daughters. Through him we are given freedom and hope. We are more than conquerors through him who loves us with unbreakable love.

Exodus 16:8-10

Verse 8: Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the Lord."
Verse 9: Then Moses told Aaron, "Say to the entire Israelite community, 'come before the Lord, for he has heard your grumbling.'"
이 말씀을 묵상하니 환경을 탓하며 하는 불평 불만은 하나님을 대상으로 하는 것이라는 생각을 하게 된다. 환경까지 주관하시는 분이 하나님이시라고 믿기에.
연말이 되고 집에 돌아오니 좀 쉬고 싶다는 마음이 강해진다.
한국에서는 벌떡 벌떡 일어났던 모습도 지금은 조금만 더 자자, 개강하면 또 못 잘 텐데로 바뀐다. 내안에 허전한 마음을 다스리지 못하고 다른 것으로 채우려고 한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님은 여전히 나에게 사랑한다고 말씀하시며 나를 일으켜 세워 주신다.
이 말씀을 통해서도 하나님은 자신에게 더 가까이 오라는 말씀을 주신다.
누가 나에 대해서 불평 불만을 토로했을 경우 그 사람이 밉고 멀리 하고 싶은게 인지상정인데 하나님은 역시 배포가 크시다.
요즘 나는 퍼펙트 맨이 아닌 상한 심령으로 살아가는 법을 배우는 것 같다. 항상 올곧게 있고 싶은 나이지만 상한 심령으로 진정한 친구가 되는 법을 배우려고 한다. 무언가를 가르치기 보다는 그냥 옆에 앉아 있으려고 한다.
하나님의 학교는 계속 된다.
